Next Step Recovery Asheville
Addiction is different for everyone. Whether you have been struggling with substance abuse for years or are just beginning to understand the effects that addiction has on your overall well-being, there is support available to help you get back on track. We want nothing more than to help guide you through this tough time in life with integrity, respect, and effective treatment.
At Next Step Recovery, we offer customized drug and alcohol addiction treatment programs to meet your unique needs. Your recovery is our main priority, and we want to help you get to a place you are proud to be.
What are Intensive Outpatient Programs?
Intensive Outpatient Programs, also known as IOPs, are specialized treatment programs for individuals with alcohol and drug addiction. These programs enable you to live at home while receiving the addiction treatment you need.Â
At Next Step Recovery, our IOP is an affordable, flexible program for those who have family, work, or other commitments each day. If participating in this program, you’ll meet a few days per week for several hours each day. Unlike North Carolina inpatient programs, you’re able to maintain some of your normal routines. Therapies include intensive group therapy, individual therapy, and 12-step immersion education, each of which supports a long-term recovery for maintaining your sobriety.Â
Are you a Candidate for an Intensive Outpatient Program?
If you’re struggling with alcohol addiction, you might be a candidate for our addiction treatment program if:
- You have recently completed detox, inpatient treatment, or a Partial Hospitalization Program and need extra support while you transition back to daily life
- You are struggling with alcohol abuse or mental health issues and cannot attend inpatient treatment for different reasons
- Your alcohol addiction and/or mental health condition does not require around-the-clock care
Our team at Next Step Recovery provides a free assessment with one of our clinicians to help determine which alcohol addiction treatment plan is best for your specific goals and needs.

Are You Struggling with Drug and Alcohol Addiction?
Alcohol addiction can be difficult to detect in both loved ones and ourselves. Oftentimes, a person struggling with alcohol addiction will hide their use and behaviors and in high-functioning cases will still perform the daily tasks of everyday life. In fact, sometimes they can function positively in society without anyone knowing they have a problem. However, alcohol abuse is a mental illness. At Next Step Recovery, we are here to help you find a treatment plan that meets your needs and recovery goals. If you or a loved one are battling alcohol abuse and mental health challenges, please reach out to our compassionate and professional team of addiction treatment specialists today by calling (828) 761-0722.
